THE HORTICULTURAL COMMITTEE

The goal of the Horticulture Committee, is to provide TCGC members with information and inspiration in horticulture.

The Committee conducts numerous workshops throughout the year, such as workshops on micro greens and seed-starting, as well as opportunities to learn how to start plants from seed and composting.

The committee also produces the newsletter “Can You Dig It” three times each year to share horticulture information, book reviews, and member stories.  The newsletter has received several awards and recognition from both FGCMD and GCA.  Recent editions can be found on this site under “Resources.”

Trainings on entering flower shows is especially important to the committee. Members have won numerous awards at many flower shows for their horticulture entries.
