Floral Design

One of the objectives of the Talbot County Garden Club is to provide training and opportunities in floral design. This is accomplished in several ways:  flower shows, floral design classes, and special events.

Several members of the Club are nationally-certified floral design judges and the Club regularly hosts workshops for members interested in design. Additionally, speakers at various events include nationally recognized designers.

The biennial Talbot County Maryland House & Garden Pilgrimage showcases the spectacular talents of the Club’s designers and the biennial Symposium affords members interested in design the opportunity to participate in designing for the event.

Members who wish to advance their knowledge in floral design and competition have access to information from the Garden Club of America, participation in NGC Flower Show Schools, and to become Flower Show Judges.
